We run or walk 5K, and we celebrate our 5K run or walk. It's that simple.

2013 brings us the 3rd Annual Fishwrench 5K Fun Run/Walk through the residential streets of Shakopee, Minnesota. This is a low-cost event - all proceeds go to a local charity supporting the Shakopee community - designed for people who want to run with a small group, and treat themselves afterward.

If you've been looking to try a 5K, but are intimidated by the big crowds at those other events, this is the event for you. If you're tired of getting t-shirts, but really like other types of toys and trash, this is the event for you. If you like to have some fun with your run, this event is for you. If you want a 5K with just a small hill or two to let you know you're alive, this is definitely the event for you.

There is no registration cost for the FW5K in 2013. All we ask is that you bring a hat, gloves, and/or socks to donate. Donated items will be given to the homeless and those in need.
